Rubi Rose Benton is a Kentucky native born on the 2nd of October, 1997. She was raised by Nardos Gebrelul, her maternal grandmother (an Eritrean immigrant dentist, born in Ethiopia) as well as John Benton her father (a lawyer of Japanese and African American descent). [1] Her father was adopted. There is an older sister who is named Scarlette and a younger sister named Coral. (2) She was baptized into Orthodox Christianism as a child. (better source required) She spent one year in Geneva, Switzerland. In her junior year in high school she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Brookwood High School, Snellville, Georgia was where she ran track. She was a student of politics at Georgia State University. She has a long history of listening to Biggie, Marvin Gaye, Chaka Khan, Prince, Michael Jackson, Biggie, Biggie, and Biggie. She is influenced by Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, and Foxy Brown. Rose was the first to be credited as the main model in the Migos music video for "Bad and Boujee", a hip-hop band. In the year following she began appearing regularly on the Twitch stream alongside Jamaican-born East Coast Hip Hop Commentator DJ Akademiks. Her music career started in September 2018 , when she released a remix of the song "On the Top", which was produced by Playboi. The single "Big Mouth" has gained her attention in the first quarter of 2019 and she performed well in the year ahead. Rose appeared in American rapper Cardi B's music video for her hit single "WAP" that was released on the 7th of August the 7th of August, 2020. In the year 2019 she was signed by A&R Chris Turner to LA Reid's record label Hitco Entertainment. Rubi is known for her high-profile relationships. Rubi has been with Travis Scott, Ian Connor and Soulja Boy. She is currently single.
